DaVinci Resolve is a professional video editing and colour grading application made by Blackmagic Design. It is free to download and genuinely powerful. I focus on it because it is the best free option for creators who want professional-level results, and most tutorials online are aimed at broadcast professionals rather than everyday creators.

I have been shooting and editing since 2013, starting with iPhone photography before moving into architecture photography and iPhone cinematic video. I relocated from Johannesburg to London in 2018. I am self-taught in DaVinci Resolve and have completed Blackmagic's official training. My day job is photo editing at a property marketing company, and I am building toward working for myself full-time.
